Not on Save the Ta-Tas or National Brest Cancer Awareness Foundation

Filed under: Musings — MetzgerBusiness @ 11:08 pm

I’ve been on the net for a while now, you know since it’s inception, and I’m wondering if the nets best prank has been played on Facebook or if there really is a brest cancer awareness campaign going on right now. Currently women on Facebook are telling what collor bra they are wearing.  I went out to http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/ and http://www.savethetatas.com/ but neither site has any information on the home page. Here’s the thing. If they haven’t started this campaign then they should be out there tonight jumping on it and figuring out how to use it regardless of whether it was the best idea to begin with because it has caught on like wildfire.

If someone knows the origin of this event please educate me because I’d love to know. By the way my favorite color I’ve seen so far “HOT Nude” sounds intriguing.

Hi there, I do the public relations and marketing for save the ta-tas and it's no prank, it's a great line of apparel that was designed to raise money for breast cancer awareness, research, etc. In 2008, we launched The Save the Ta-tas Foundation, a not-for-profit arm in which all donations that come in and a portion of the proceeds of all sales goes to support the search for a cure for cancer. The Foundation supports a variety of other foundations directly…in the past it was the Breast Cancer Research Foundation but we are currently supporting The Concern Foundation, the Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles and more. We've had celebrities like Liz Vassey of CSI, pro surfer/triathlete Hannah Cornett, Jessica Biel, Melora Hardin and others donate their time or effort to our cause. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to email me or you can learn more about our efforts at http://www.savethetatas.com/index.php/mission. Thanks.

I apologize, The way this post originally read implied that I thought Save the Ta-Tas was a prank. I did not mean that. I was wondering if the women telling their bra color on facebook was a prank. I'm still looking to be enlightened on that.

I am familiar with the Save the Ta-tas Foundation and think it is a wonderful charity and have attended a few fundraisers parties thrown in the Atlanta area that benefited the Brest Cancer walk and Save the Ta-tas.
